My name is Camilla (Camie) Dziadosz.
I'm an artist and writer based in the Chicagoland area (IL).

My work sits between tenderness and discomfort, play and pain, control and surrender. Drawing from my background in psychology and my own emotional landscape, I use drawing, painting, and mixed media to examine embodiment, longing, attachment, and containment, often infused with a sense of absurdity. I’m drawn to materials that allow both precision and collapse— acrylic, gouache, watercolor, colored pencil, ink, and layered marks—so the work can oscillate between fragility and density. Recurring motifs such as fragmented figures, objects, and patterned surfaces function less as direct narratives and more so as emotional containers shaped by closeness, tension, and restraint. I’m interested in creating work that feels both intimate and slightly unsettling—where beauty coexists with unease, and in which feeling and thinking deeply are not treated as flaws but as methods to reveal hidden truths.

Outside of creating, I enjoy connecting with nature, listening to music, attending concerts, reading, organizing, thrifting, watching films, and staying active—whether dancing, walking, or doing home workouts.

I'm available for freelance and collaborative projects, commissions, and gallery representation.
